The former The Incredible Dr. Pol actress revealed that being always on-call at the clinic was very stressful, considering that she had three children who also needed her.
After advice from her therapist, Dr. Thomas decided to leave the clinic and look for a better job. Possibly something that would allow her to have more time for herself and her family. Luckily, she found exactly what she was looking for. The former Incredible Dr. Pol vet said that she needed to escape the darkness she was in.
Without a shadow of a doubt, mental and physical wellbeing is more important than money in the grand scheme of things. It is why Emily gave up her demanding job with Dr. Pol and Nat Geo.
